When life gets heavy, overwhelming, or simply too expensive, self-care is often the first thing women sacrifice — even when they need it the most.
What Is The Self-Care Circle?
The Self-Care Circle is a pay-it-forward initiative created by The Ritual Co. Spa + Salon to support women in our community who need care but may not currently have the financial, physical, or emotional capacity to prioritize themselves.
Through community nominations, digital gift card donations, service sponsorships, and partnerships with local businesses, we’re able to offer complimentary hair, skin, scalp, brow, lash, body, and massage services to individuals experiencing hardship or burnout.
It’s simple generosity.
It’s collective support.
It’s women uplifting women.
It’s the Circle.
How It Works

Apply or Nominate
Anyone can apply for themselves or nominate someone they love using our confidential application. The form allows you to share personal circumstances, service needs, and comfort considerations.

Our Team Reviews Submissions
We select recipients based on need, story, and readiness. Our goal is to reach women who haven’t been able to access self-care services for a long time and would deeply benefit from the experience.

Community Contributions Fund the Services
Members of our community can Join The Circle several ways:

Participation in our quarterly fundraising events.

Scheduling "Ripple Rituals" which are service upgrades that 100% of profits will be allocated to the SCC fund.

Purchasing apparel from our official merch store. 100% of profits from all purchases will go directly to the SCC fund.

Sponsoring services for a specific nominee.

Generously donating any amount to the SCC fund.

We Schedule the Care Ritual
Recipients receive a restorative, customized experience at our salon + spa — one that brings relief, beauty, grounding, and emotional replenishment.

Regularly pour into others (teachers, nurses, caregivers, service workers, volunteers)

Would never ask for help for themselves

Can I nominate someone?
Absolutely. Many of our recipients are women who would never ask for themselves, even though they should.
How are recipients chosen?
Our team reviews each submission with care and selects individuals based on need, story, and the potential impact of receiving services.
How often are recipients selected?
As frequently as funds are available.
What services can be gifted?
Hair, scalp treatments, makeup, skincare, brows, lashes, body treatments, and massage services.
Are contributions tax-deductible?
At this time, contributions are not tax-deductible, but they go directly toward supporting local women in need.
Can businesses participate?
Yes. Business partnerships are encouraged and deeply appreciated. We offer several collaboration options.
