Each treatment will begin with a thorough microscopic scalp analysis to determine your individual scalp concerns before your therapist will perform a customized 5 step ceremony that removes product build-up, balances natural oils and restores a harmonious environment for

optimal hair and scalp health.

STEP ONE - DETOX

Clarifying balms, aromatic steam and targeted massage work together to remove product buildup and prepare the scalp for treatment.

STEP TWO - REFINE

Exfoliation designed to gently remove impurities, restore hydration and stimulate blood flow to the scalp.

STEP THREE - CLEANSE

An invigorating hair bath customized to renew your scalp and hair.

STEP FOUR - RESTORE

Deep treatment mask and massage customized to repair, strengthen and balance your hair and scalp.

STEP FIVE - SOOTHE

A botanical waterfall onto the hairline delivering hydroessential extracts of sandalwood, lavender and eucalyptus soothe inflammation and irritation while relieving tension and stress.

FAQ

Can I do a Head Spa if I have hair extensions or a protective style?

We cannot perform services on customers with extensions, braids, or sew-ins that obstruct access to the scalp and pores. Therefore, we recommend scheduling your head spa ONE WEEK PRIOR to installation of extensions or protective styles.

While we can make modifications to accommodate some beaded extension methods, it would be best to consult with your installation stylists before scheduling.

Will the Head Spa affect my hair color/keratin?

All products are color and keratin safe, however, prolonged exposure to water and steam can lift both color and keratin prematurely. We recommend scheduling your head spa ONE WEEK PRIOR to your color or chemical treatments to prevent lifting and/or sensitivity.

Is The Head Spa safe for expecting mothers?

All products are completely safe during pregnancy, however, some guests may be concerned about being exposed to certain herbs and oils such as lavender and peppermint while they are expecting. Therefore, it would be best to consult your doctor.

We also require guests to lay completely flat on your back during treatment. If this is something you are unable to do, then it may be best to wait until after the delivery to schedule your head spa.

Certain pressure points and massage will also be modified during pregnancy.

How long should I plan to be in the spa?

Please allow an additional 15 minutes for consultation, pre + post scalp analysis. For example, if you are booked for a 60 minute session, plan to be here for a total of 75 minutes. Blow outs will add an additional 30 minutes to your total appointment time.

Can my friend and I get the head spa done at the same time?

Unfortunately, we can only accommodate one head spa guest at a time, therefore group appointments would have to be scheduled back-to-back. Our quiet room is a perfect space to relax while you wait for the remainder of your group, or you can schedule an additional service during your down time.

Are blow outs included?

While blow outs are not included with the head spa ceremony, you can most certainly add a blow out to your appointment for an additional $35.

Otherwise, your hair will be towel dried by your therapist and there is a blow drier and brushes available in the locker room for your convenience.

THE HEAD SPA IS NOT RECOMMENDED:

Immediately after a meal or after consuming alcohol
Immediately after surgery whether medical, reconstructive, or cosmetic.
2 weeks after any kind of beauty lasering service
Any kind of diseases/viruses, especially those related to the skin
Diabetes or any related heart diseases
Cardiovascular disorder, a history of thrombosis, or a severe headache
High or low blood pressure

High fever, diarrhea, or abdominal pain
Swelling, bumps, or severe edema of undetermined reason
Burns or hot flashes immediately after sunburn
Anyone who has experienced an asthma attack within the last year or is likely to have an attack the day of a scheduled service
Anyone who has experienced an epilepsy seizure within the last year
Immediately expecting mothers
Within one week after vaccination

PARKING

Parking is FREE but can be limited between the hours of 11am-1pm Tuesday-Saturday due to Leonardo's lunch crowd. If possible, give yourself a few extra minutes to circle the lot during these times.
